This journal will be included in your ePortfolio at the end of the quarter and should be written with that in mind. When you are all done with this process you will look back at this journal and use it as a guide for constructing your ePortfolio final letter, which will detail your accomplishments in 39C and how you came to be an expert on your chosen topic.
While there are no strict guidelines (you should write this however you feel is most appropriate), you might consider answering some of the following questions:
Now that I’ve completed my rough draft, what do I feel confident about? What am I concerned with? What do I still need to do in order to make this paper truly reflect my ability as a writer?
What have you learned n the process of researching and writing about the major problem/solution related to your technology? Consider your attitudes from earlier in the quarter: are you more optimistic/pessimistic? How have your beliefs changed over the course of the last several weeks?
What is the current state of your research? What do you still need to look up? What kinds of sources would you like to find? What kinds of information do you need to discover in order to meet the demands of the prompt?
What, so far, is the most important source you’ve found that is new to the AP? Why has this source been so vital?
What has the process been like having to write this paper without more direct feedback and guidance form your instructor? How has that changed your process? What has it taught you about you about self-reliance?
