In this assignment, you will evaluate a scenario involving the fictional John Thomas, a school principal who has been charged with DUI, open container, speeding, and possession of less than an ounce of marijuana. You’ll describe the legal process from arrest to arraignment. You’ll also consider the point of view of the district attorney, who must decide to accept a plea bargain or prosecute.
