In order, case to find the solution as to why many pregnant women avoid prenatal care and also come up with strategies of convincing them to become part of the beneficiaries of prenatal care, it is crucial to consider all the. Some of the internal factors include culture, employees, and stuff, among others, while the internal factors include: political factors, social factors, economic factors, among others.

What are the problems that have been facing the county health department? Most of the pregnant women might have preferred to keep off from parental care due to several factors. One of the most likely issues would be harassment, delay, and hostility from the health care workers. During pregnancy, women are delicate and ought to be handled with care such practices would have contributed to the scenario(Osterman & Martin (2018). How will the health care department ensure increased safety of pregnant woman, this is a question of what more will need to be incorporated to ensure the achievement of more opportunities. Pregnant women who are handled with ultimate care are likely to influence other women to visit the department, this increases the prospects for the health sector and eventually growing the beneficiaries. The county health department should also consider who offers better health services in the market. This can help them understand why the competitor has much preferred then them; with this information about the competitor and the risks of the competitor, it is possible to conduct a swot analysis for the organization.

A vision statement indicates where the organization is aiming at, where the organization sees it’s self in the future.  The vision for the county health department is to be the leading institution in offering maternal health care services in the country.  The mission statement is a phrase that speaks more about the vision; it expounds on the measures that shall be put in place to achieve the vision over time. The health care department should set up several objectives to enhance the achievement of the sole goal of reducing the number of pregnant women who avoid prenatal services(Osterman & Martin, (2018). The objective may include: train the health care workers on the process of handling pregnant women who seek to attend prenatal clinics; this will help to regain the number than was lost due to mishandling. Educate pregnant women on the importance of attending prenatal services; pregnant women should be made aware of the dangers of not attending the program. To reduce the cost of prenatal services so that all pregnant women can afford to be attending the program.
